Muni’s Biography
Muni Gwanyebit CRNP, PMHNP-BC is an experienced board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 4 years of experience in psychiatry and 8 years in other specialties which includes; Medical surgical Telemetry, Post up Telemetry and Hospice care. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment. A client can expect their initial visit with Muni to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals and education about diagnosis and available treatment options, with special attention to individual needs, including attention to each patient’s personal history, his or her specific context, stressful or traumatic life experiences or circumstances; all of which she approaches with patience, warmth, understanding, and helpful explanations that facilitate treatment and the patient’s sense of comfort and trust. Although Muni is able to prescribe medication as a viable option, she has been very successful with the holistic approach of listening and educating the patient before resorting to medication, and many times it is a combination of all three. Muni is a firm believer that the patient really understands why they are taking medication, and discusses with them how they feel about the treatment plan. Muni believes that, if the patient isn’t feeling well, a kind approach will speed up the healing process as noted by science.

Do you feel overwhelmed with life stressors and don’t know what to do? Do you feel like you are in a world full of trends? Muni got you taken care of.
